I got home from work and thought I'd like to hear a nice Cold Rain 'n Snow, so I got on the Archive to see what I could dig up, but before doing the search I looked at the message board to see whas'up, and guess what? Synchronicity

Well its been that kind of couple of days, and it looks like two more to come...

I checked out just about every one that was suggested except the ones from the 80's (sorry couldnt do it boys)

I found the Tivoli performance to be extremely well played!

Robwords pick from 10/26/69 was an interesting rendition, and Lou's selection from 6/7/69 was pretty cool.

I didnt recall the version from Legion Stadium, so I checked it out and found it disapointing, sorry Deadred :)

The best one is still 4/29/71!

But I'm surprised nobody suggested one from 1966...

You're right. I just remembered the show from hearing it a long time ago. That was oddly enough when I could still hear good. Last night's AC/DC concert in DC didn't help with the ears.

Correction: I just called my traveling partner, and she says she can make it to see Ratdog tonight.

I don't have the memory for this tune to do the summary, but I defn incline toward the early versions with the fast pace a la the First Album tempo...
